Summer Camp
SMTI represents the collaboration of three of the region’s
premier performing arts training programs.
Our Summer Camp offers a 6-week intensive program where you will work with a team of music, theatre, and dance professionals and master teachers from the three collaborating studios.
Each day consists of three 80 min classes in each of the following disciplines;
Musical Theatre Stagecraft, Movement, & Music, with the last two hours of each day
focusing on our summer production.
The intensive culminates with a fully staged, full length musical.
SMTI’s faculty members have regional, national touring, opera, television and film credits, and draw from these experiences to create this dynamic program. Professional guest artists familiar with the partner programs and their missions may also be invited to teach during the intensive.
